The Messaging
When a roof is damaged, the first thing people ask is, "who can I trust to take care of this?" Our focus was to present Midcon Exteriors as the solution to their customers' urgent problem of roof restoration. We used straightforward messaging on the homepage to direct users to internal pages with more information and used the internal pages to dive deeper into all the intricacies of roofing. The missional message: "We are your trustworthy experts in restoration and roofing."
The Website
The foundation of the website plan was centered on the Storybrand framework. A hero has a problem and meets a guide who provides a plan to overcome a problem. While the layout of the website may seem simple, the intentional design guides each user gently into a well-planned sales narrative ultimately leading to trust. We also wanted to display the award badges and high reviews from past clients. You'll notice them in subtle and accessible places as you scroll through the website. Additionally, we wanted the website to have stark contrasts of dark and light to allow the blue colors to pop in all the right places.
The Photography
In addition to the website, we were able to take photos of several job sites showcasing the quality and beauty of a successful installation. Utilizing both drone and ground images and before-and-after shots, we captured both the roof installer's perspective and the homeowner's perspective. While the construction process is not necessarily pretty, the end result is amazing. Ultimately, the photos do a good job reflecting the excellent service Midcon provides: a great looking roof, done the right way, with no nails, lumber, or junk left behind.
